Damcos Actuators
We offer a range of Damcos actuators including hydraulic linear single and double acting actuators as well as valve block and shaft covers for the actuators. Below are details on some of the Damcos actuators available here at Rosemount.
Damcos KC Hydraulic linear double-acting actuator - This actuator converts hydraulic energy into linear motion with thrust proportional to the applied pressure. There are no external moving parts on the Damcos KC actuator when in operation and also comes with a device built in that will maintain pressure at temperature variations. The Damcos KC actuator has been designed with a built in crossover valve and also has a direct visual position indicator. This actuator is able to operate in any environment and can be adapted to most globe valves, all models of the KC are prepared for modular control functions.
Damcos KF/KFR - These are designed as hydraulic fail close actuators. When operated by hydraulic pressure the spindle is lifted and valve opened so the spring packaged is compressed. Upon the release of pressure the spring package presses down on the spindle and closes the valve. This actuator as with the KC models has no external moving parts during operation. The KFR actuators come equipped with a unique emergency system which allows the valve to be open and closed manually with a built in hand pump when hydraulic pressure is not available.
