The basic concept of MEP2000 cargo monitoring system is to ensure reliable transfer of Process signals and data from sensor to the end user. To meet the increasing demand for efficient exchange of information between: Ship, Owner, Charterer, Classification Society, Authorities, Shipyards and Suppliers - all information can easily be passed to the ship's administration network and even directly onshore using standard network communications because of the advancement with the cargo monitoring system.
This means no communication barriers between the automation system and administrative network. A sophisticated, user based security system permits precise control of all access to data and system applications.
