The basic concept of MEP2000 is to ensure reliable trasfer of Process signals and data from sensor to the end user. To meet the increasing demand for efficient exchange of information between: Ship, Owner, Charterer, Classification Society, Authorities, Shipyards and Suppliers - all information can easily be passed to the ship's administration network and even directly onshore using standard network communications.
No Communication Barriers
This means no communication barriers between the automation system and administrative network. A sophisticated, user based security system permits precise control of all access to data and system applications.
