All marine Rosemount TankRadar® gauges are intrinsically safe, providing a number of benefits for the operator. There is a high degree of safety built into the system.
Third Generation Gauges
The Rosemount TankRadar® G3 is the third generation of marine tank gauges. About 50% of the tankers built today, are equipped with Rosemount
TankRadar®. Over 1000 tankers are sailing with Rosemount TankRadar® onboard.
Types Of Gauges
There are four types of transmitters with different antennas available with Rosemount TankRadar® G3:
- Parabolic Antenna Transmitter
for crude products and chemical
tankers.
- Cone Antenna Transmitter
for ships with shallow tanks.
- Level Gauge
for liquefied gas tankers.
- Fast Opening Transmitter
for bitumen carriers.
